That Was Fast Beanie Knitting Pattern
Looking for a simple and fast knit beanie pattern? Look no further! The That Was Fast Beanie knitting pattern is one of the shortest and simplest patterns I’ve ever written.
It’s worked in a simple rib pattern, then cinched together at the top. The length is easy to customize. It’s the perfect on the go project.

The Fit
To get the best desired fit lengthwise, try the beanie on the recipient, fold the brim over 2”, and make sure there is enough length before removing needles and cinching top closed. Beanie is knit 2” past average length. Ex. The adult size is 9” in length after you fold the brim over 2”.
Beanie measurements were taken laid flat. Final length is
after brim is folded.
The beanie is made to fit snug. To make a looser/larger fit, go up a needle size.

Love this pattern…can’t wait to try it! I like that it doesn’t call for a switch to DPN’ s at the top of the beanie as I am a fairly new beginner. Thank you for sharing! 🎄

Thank you! You’re welcome! I avoid dpns as much as possible. 😅 I love a quick cinch to close a beanie, I’ve done that with all of my patterns. ❤️
