Air Plant Nest

The Air Plant Nest crochet pattern is a super cute and quick project. Perfect for your collection or last minute gifts.

Ch- chain
Dec- decrease (single crochet 2 together)
Flo- front loop only
Inc- increase (2 sc in same st)
Rep- repeat
Rnd- round
Sc- single crochet
Sl st- slip stitch
Sp- space
St(s)- stitch(es)

Notes & Pattern:
The Air Plant Nest pattern is worked in the round, starting with a magic ring.

Ch 1 does not count as a st.

Bobble stitch:

*Yarn over, insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on your hook rep * 3 more times. Now you should have 5 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all
5 loops on your hook.

Front Loop Only (Flo)

Normally, you insert your hook under both the loops that make up that top V shape. To work in the front loop only, insert your hook under only the specified loop instead. The front loop will the bottom of the v shape, closest to you. (see Flo Rnd below)

Air Plant Nest Design 1:

Rnds 1-3 are worked continuous.
Rnd 1: Make a magic ring, Sc 8 (8 Sc)
Rnd 2: Inc in each st (16 Sc)
Rnd 3: *Inc, Sc Rep from * around, Sl st, Ch 1 (24 Sc)

Flo Rnd: Sc in the Flo in the same Sp that you did your Sl st, Ch 1 in.
Sc in the Flo of each St around, Sl st, Ch 1 (24 Sc)

Bobble Rnd : *Sc, Bobble Rep from * around, Sl st, Ch 1, Turn (24 Sts) 12 Sc, 12 bobbles
Rnd 6: *Dec, Sc 4 Rep from * around, Sl st, Ch 1, Turn (20 Sc)
Rnds 7-8: Sc, Sl st, Ch 1, Turn (20 Sc)
Rnd 9: Sc (20 Sc)
Fasten off, weave in ends.

Air Plant Nest Design 2:

Rnds 1-2 are worked continuous.
Rnd 1: Make a magic ring, Sc 8 (8 Sc)
Rnd 2: Inc in each st, Sl st, Ch 1 (16 Sc)

Flo Rnd: Sc in the Flo in the same Sp that you did your Sl st, Ch 1 in.
